This week was filled with love, laughter, surprises, and appreciation as we celebrated the incredible teachers and staff who make ICES such a special place each day. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week memorable!
✨ Monday
We kicked off the week with Staff Bingo Cards for gift cards and cash prizes donated by the admin team and bookkeeper! Staff had two ways to win — get BINGO or guess the mystery staff member!
Staff also received teacher bracelets: “Thanks for being the link that holds us together” along with a mid-day snack break.
🥨🍋 Tuesday
Staff enjoyed our “Mix, Munch, and Make a Difference” Trail Mix Bar hosted by PAGE. We also had special treats donated by the Ocilla Church of God and a refreshing lemonade bar hosted by the admin team.
🧁🍓Wednesday
A huge thank you to Five Star Credit Union for sponsoring our yogurt and muffin bar!
Teachers and staff also received wish-scented hand sanitizers with the message: “Our students are in good hands with you!”
🌮🌸 Thursday
Breakfast biscuits sponsored by Jack's started the day off right, followed by a delicious Nacho Bar hosted by the admin team!
One of the sweetest surprises of the week came from our students, who presented flowers and personalized door hangers to teachers based on special sayings they selected that reminded them of that teacher. Flowers were donated by My Flower Basket and Gift Shop in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
💛🧺 Friday
We wrapped up the week with a picnic lunch provided by the admin team and Melissa Jenkins with desserts. Staff received travel picnic blankets as our final token of appreciation, with the message: “School is a picnic with amazing teachers and staff like you!”
